NBL1 West star Alex Sharp has signed with the Rockingham Flames women for the upcoming 2024 season.

The 26-year-old has spent the past three seasons with the Willetton Tigers where she won two MVPs, the 2021 NBL West Championship and Grand Final MVP.

Sharp helped steer the Tigers to three straight NBL1 West grand finals where they won in 2021, but went down to Warwick in 2022 and Cockburn in 2023.

Sharp is also a former Perth Lynx and Australian Opal player.

"I want to thank the club and Marcus for this opportunity to be a part of such a strong program and community," she said on social media.

"I'm really excited about the squad Marcus is putting together. The Flames are a team that plays with passion, grit, and relentlessness - I can't wait to get out on the court with the girls."

The Flames also have a new coach, former Joondalup Wolves coach Marcus Wong.

The team have also added Opal Mader, Emily Stevens and Imogen Soulos to their roster for the 2024 NBL1 West season.
