A whale carcass has been spotted off a Dawesville beach.
Officers from the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions sighted the carcass about 12.03pm on Sunday.
It is believed to be near the Melros Reserve boat ramp.
Beachgoers have been advised to be extra cautious when entering the water as the carcass could attract sharks.
