A second body has been recovered in waters off Mandurah after a yacht capsized during yesterday's Bunbury and Return Ocean Race.
A DFES search helicopter spotted the only remaining crew member's body floating in the water at 12.30 yesterday afternoon.
Earlier an emergency beacon lead two yachts to five people, including one man who had tragically already died.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner in relation to the two men, aged in their 60's and 70's.
The search effort was carried out by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority with assistance from WA Police, Mandurah, Rockingham and Bunbury Volunteer Marine Rescue crews as well as two yachts from the race, Fourth Dimension and Circa.
It's not yet known what caused the Finistere to capsize during the 70th year of the Ocean Race.
Even organisers say it's too early to speculate.
