Tiny Doors Trail in Mandurah

PIC: Everything Mandurah

A trail of 10 tiny doors has been created in Mandurah to encourage kids to spend less time on their iPads and more time outdoors.

Children can follow 10 different tiny doors that have been set up around the Mandurah city centre.

The person who came up with the idea is Tennille O'Neill.

"The idea was to create a little network of doors for kids to find and get them out of the house on the weekend."

Elly Moody also helped implement the idea.

"Mandurah is such a beautiful place so we thought if we got a little trail through town leading from one point to the other, kids could follow it."

The women successfully applied for a Mandurah Creative grant to pay artists to make all the doors.
