Rockingham police probe Bertram robbery

Authorities said a 30-year-old woman was robbed in broad daylight while waiting for a bus.

A woman has been left shaken after being assaulted and her possessions stolen while waiting at a bus shelter in Bertram on Wednesday morning.

Rockingham Detectives said around 11:40am the victim was standing at the bus shelter on Johnson Road near the Bertram Community Centre, when she was approached by an unknown man.

The man then punched her to the face and stole her laptop bag. He was last seen running towards Price Parkway.

The man is described as being 25 to 27 years of age, with fair skin, approximately 180cms tall, with a slim build and black hair in a mullet style. He was wearing a black hooded top, black shorts and black Nike trainers.

Detectives would like to speak to the man pictured below who they believe can assist them with this inquiry.
