The local community is invited to get into the festive spirit at the City of Rockingham's annual Christmas Festival this Saturday.
The Christmas Festival is part of the City's 'Summer Series' providing free, family-friendly, and alcohol-free events to the community.
There is plenty of fun to look forward to at the Christmas Festival, including live music and entertainment across two stages.
The event will also feature free kid's activities, food vans, market stalls, a visit from Santa, and the popular switching on of the Christmas lights.
City of Rockingham Mayor Deb Hamblin has encouraged community members to come down and celebrate Christmas at the Rockingham foreshore.
“The City’s Christmas Festival has grown to be one of our most popular annual events, with families embracing the opportunity to enjoy the arrival of the festive season in a relaxed, family-friendly environment,” Mayor Hamblin said.
“During the Christmas Festival, visitors can have their photo taken with Santa and his helpers, while the stunning turning on of the Christmas lights will brighten up Churchill Park, the Beach Plaza, The Lookout and the Boardwalk.”
The Christmas Festival will be at Churchill Park this Saturday, December 10.
