Emergency crews say a house fire in Port Kennedy overnight was caused by clothes drying in front of a heater.
Fire crews from Rockingham responded to reports of smoke coming from a house on Zadora Loop at about 9:20pm on Thursday.
When they arrived, they found the single level home smoke logged and searched for the location of the fire.
The blaze was extinguished by 9:50pm.
A spokesperson for the Department of Fire and Emergency Servies said the fire has caused an estimated $80,000 damage.
No one was injured in the blaze.
