A man who died in hospital after being found injured in Halls Head has been identified as 27-year-old Greenfields father Axel Boreski.
Homicide squad detectives are investigating the suspicious early morning death in Halls Head.
The man was located about 5am on Saturday on Leighton Road East with life threatening injuries.
Mr Boreski called the ambulance himself before he was conveyed to the Peel Health Campus where he died a short time later.
Two men in their 20s are currently assisting police with their investigation.
Mandurah detectives are also helping with the investigation.
Leighton Road was blocked off by police as forensic officers scoured the scene for any clues.
Police divers were called in to search the waters off the Mary Street bridge.
