The Shire of Murray's biggest public event of the year, the Pinjarra Festival is returning in 2025.

The major event was cancelled in 2024 due to thunderstorms and heavy rainfall, but the Shire has confirmed it will still be held during the WA Day long weekend on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday June 1, 2025.

Shire of Murray Chief Executive Officer, Dean Unsworth highlighted the festival’s significance.

“In 2023 we saw more than 20,000 attendees enjoy the weekend with people attending from across the State.”

“The event not only unites our community in celebration but also provides essential economic activity that supports our local businesses and communities.”

Applications are now open for food vendors and market stall holders to submit expressions of interest to attend.
