A 25-year-old man is facing a string of charges after a serious crash in Stake Hill on Wednesday.
At around 6.20am, the car rolled on the Kwinana Freeway near Lakes Road.
The 22-year-old passenger sustained serious head injuries and was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital.
The alleged driver, a 25-year-old man from Balga, has been charged with five offences, including stealing a motor vehicle, no authority to drive and possessing cannabis.
He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday.
