Investigations are continuing into a mass fish kill in the Murray River at North Yunderup.
The Department of Water believes around 3000 fish of mixed species, including bream, have died.
The department has since taken samples from the water and the fish to determine what caused the deaths.
Health authorities are urging people to stay out of the water and not to eat any fish from the river until the results are known.
Any fish deaths should be reported to the Department of Fisheries FishWatch on 1800 815 507.
