Mandurah Forum has started a new campaign aimed at enticing people living outside of Mandurah to visit the shopping centre hub.

On Sundays throughout December and January, the first 75 visitors to Mandurah Forum who live more than 40km away will receive a complimentary $50 fuel voucher.

Centre Manager Jacqueline McKenzie said over $30,000 worth of fuel vouchers are up for grabs.

“Mandurah Forum is a hub of shopping, dining and family entertainment, with major and specialty retailers like David Jones, Seed and Decjuba that people living outside of Perth and its northern suburbs have fairly limited access to,” Ms McKenzie said.

“We are offering free fuel to cover the trip and with our free shaded parking at Mandurah Forum, it’s an incredibly cost-effective day out for families to visit to spend some time together this summer.

“Mandurah as a town is a fantastic and much-loved summer destination, and we want to share that with people who may not have visited for some time because of the travel it may have involved.”

In addition, visitors to Mandurah Forum, regardless of where they live, have the chance to win a 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe, valued at more than $40,000, if they visit before 20 December.

“With your fuel paid for and the chance to win a brand new SUV to make future trips even more comfortable, there are so many reasons to make the trip to Mandurah this summer,” Ms McKenzie

City of Mandurah Mayor Rhys Williams said Christmas was a great time to visit the coastal city.

“I encourage shoppers to finish their Christmas shopping in Mandurah and then stay for dinner and to experience the City at night,” Mayor Williams said.
