Police believe the same person has been stealing garden items from the yards of residents homes in Byford to build their own garden.
A roll on lawn, park bench, roses, bird bath, outdoor setting, decorative garden pieces and a fruit tree have been stolen so far.
The mandarin tree was stolen from the front yard of a home on Mead Street earlier this week.
Mundijong police said it was an ongoing trend in recent weeks.
Senior Sergeant Darryl Brandis said it looks like someone is building their garden, piece by piece by stealing from other hard working folk.
"It's a pretty terrible thing when you lay your lawn or plant or rose tree and then wake up the next morning to find it's been stolen.
Anyone with information is being urged to contact police.
