A scrub fire in Bouvard over the weekend has been deemed suspicious.
Firefighters were called to bushland near Quail Road on Sunday.
"Due the area, access to the fire could only be undertaken by Light Tankers, but the fire was quickly brought under control so that the aerial assistance was not required," Falcon Volunteer Fire and Rescue said in a Facebook post.
"Excellent teamwork from all brigades had the fire extinguished in about two hours."
While the cause of the fire is still being investigated it has been deemed suspicious.
"There is evidence of unauthorised timber collection including work from a chainsaw in the fire area," Falcon Volunteer Fire and Rescue said.
"As we are yet to see reasonable rainfall, all areas of scrubland are very dry and one simple spark can easily start a fire.
"Please be mindful of your actions when outside and especially in scrublands."
