A search operation discovered Justin Paul Davies body under a tree yesterday.
Police have located the body of a man identified as Mr Justin Paul Davies yesterday afternoon under a tree in the states north east.
Mr Davies was prospecting with a family member near Cue, 645 kilometres north east of Perth.
The 48 year old was last seen on Monday and was reported missing when he did not return to camp near Webb's Patch.
Some reports say he was found just 2.5 kilometres from his base camp.
The Rockingham Senior High School deputy was reportedly an experienced prospector.
Tributes for Mr Davies have poured in from members of the community through social media.
In a statement from Rockingham Senior High School they touched on the talented educators many years of service.
Inspector Dave Hooper said there are no suspicious circumstances at this stage and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
