Music legend and former Genesis member Phil Collins has announced a 2019 Australian tour, as part of his ‘Not Dead Yet: Live!’ world tour.
Collins’ five-date Aussie jaunt will see him perform at stadiums, arenas and ovals in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne between January and February 2019.
Joined by a horn section and a backing band of longtime touring members — Daryl Stuermer (guitar), Brad Cole (keyboard), Leland Sklar (bass) and Luis Conte (percussion) — Collins will also be joined by his 16-year-old son Nicolas on drums.
“I thought I would retire quietly,” says Collins. “But thanks to the fans, my family and support from some extraordinary artists I have rediscovered my passion for music and performing. It’s time to do it all again and I’m excited. It just feels right.”

Collins made his solo debut with 1981’s Face Value, and is best known for that album’s hit single, ‘In The Air Tonight’. He announced his return to music in October 2015, despite a viral petition later calling for him not to make a comeback.
