Mandurah Rotary Duck Race

The Rotary Family Fun Day and Duck Race is a much-loved, free community event held every year on Easter Saturday at the Mandurah Eastern Foreshore.

This fun-filled day brings people of all ages together to celebrate Easter in a safe, welcoming, and smoke-, alcohol- and drug-free environment. There’s no entry fee, and you’ll find a range of free entertainment, market stalls, and displays from local businesses featuring art, craft and speciality products.

A highlight of the event is the two exciting Duck Races, held on the estuary in the afternoon. Each duck entered in the race represents a ticket sold by a local community group. The first three ducks to cross the finish line in each race win fantastic prizes. Best of all, half of the proceeds from every ticket go back to the community group that sold it.

The Family Fun Day and Duck Race has long been a team effort between Mandurah’s Rotary Clubs. In 2025, the event will be proudly hosted by the Rotary Club of Mandurah Districts, with thanks to all clubs and volunteers who have helped grow the event over the years.

The main stage will feature live local music, singers, bands, and dancers.

Community Duck Race – $5 per duck
Up to 10,000 ducks will be released into the estuary at around 3.00pm (subject to tide and weather).

$5,000 cash, supported by Peel Tyre Service, Containers for Cash & Mandurah Scrap Metal
Jewellery valued at $2,500, donated by Swales Diamond Jewellers
