The 91.7 The Wave, Gunners and Ali‘s K-9 Dog Rescue Quiz Night held on Friday the 26th of August (National Dog Day) with the thanks of Peel Thunder was a Paw-Some success!
Showing that anything is paw-sible, we sold out weeks before the event, with 25 tables unleashed, and the crowd really raised the woof on the night!
We raised a truly paws-itive $10,000 to assist in the running of the K-9 Rescue Group in Nambeelup.
There were quiz questions from 91.7 The Wave's breakfast team and dynamic duo of Ali Hill and Daniel Gunn and some were a bit ruff (requiring some people to become true Sherlock-Bones to solve them) and some tables were fur-tunate to win some truly hot-dog prizes.
Donated prizes included pamper packs to weekends away, meals and other prizes that players went mutts about.
But the night itself wasn't over when the last question was asked by our hosts Gunners and Ali - please fur-give us, but all the businesses who donated prizes were also in the draw for a magnificent prize of $5000 +GST advertising package thanks to 91.7 The Wave.

P.P.I.L. had provided us with a big-ticket item, the 55” smart tv from Samsung, valued at $1,200 (which was highest-earning item in the silent auction, going for $880)
